The many trillion dollars bet is that AI will replace human labor, and because human labor is SO expensive, the savings will be pocketed by the AI owners. But this assumption is false.
Never in human history did people pay salaries for machines. When you pay for a tool that you need, you're only paying for the humans who contributed to its making, and not to the machines who also contributed. Machines never receive a salary.
Which is why this AI race will never EVER bring fruits, and all those massive investments will FOR SURE be wasted 100%.
