Clair Obscur's first game, Expedition 33, is an absolute beast of a marvel, a game stunningly beautiful, breathtaking in every aspect, and most certainly the most beautiful game of the year, with the best original music, and probably the best game of the year as well.
But the biggest surprise is probably that in order to achieve all this, the studio does not contained more than 30 persons, when for AAA games usual big studios dedicate multiple thousands (Electronic Arts, Ubisoft, etc)
So, what is the takeaway? That passion plus dedication go a long way when dealing with artistic projects (of any kind).
